Fairfax Baptist Temple was started in 1970 by six charter members. In 1976, they opened the Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy for grades K5-12th grade. Fast forward to present day, and FBTA has grown to over 400 students in grades K3-12th grade. The consistent growth has shown how important a building expansion is for the school and church alike.

While the current square footage of the building can technically handle the amount of students, the Vision 30 project will add additional classrooms, as well as a larger cafeteria with an industrial, commercial kitchen. These additional spaces will allow for several classes of the same grade, and for better security by enclosing the walkways between buildings.
